As the editor-in-chief of the Power Automedia magazine series, on the occasion of celebrating our 15th anniversary, I would like to share some Q&A with the editors of each of our magazines so that you, our readers, can better understand who is driving your favorite The automotive content moves forward. The Street Muscle Magazine team consists of a group of talented freelance writers and photographers with many years of experience in their respective fields, all of which are led by Street Muscle editor Vinny Costa. They are passionate about everything about muscle cars and want to share this excitement with you-so take a look at what they think is cool in this industry! I sat down with Vinny to analyze the personality behind leading digital magazines to understand what it means to him to be a "media promoter, influencer, and story disruptor".

Q: What is the mission of your magazine?

A: Street Muscle has a unique opportunity to cater to an extremely wide range of muscle car enthusiasts. From the exhausted street machines in the past to the most radical new super muscle car you can think of, Street Muscle has the responsibility to attract all these individual audiences and provide them with the latest technology and industry news, display coverage and more. Our mission is to create something for everyone who loves muscle cars.

Q: Why are you destined to occupy the first/second position in your market?

A: In the end, no one else is really doing what we are doing now. We picked the best parts from the old-fashioned print magazines that we all liked, and incorporated our own 21st century style into it. The result is a digital magazine that bridges the gap between nostalgia and excitement about what happens next.

Q: How do you hope to make an impact in this field?

A: I think there is a very common misunderstanding that young people do not like cars as much as previous generations. I think young people do like cars, but they may appreciate cars in different ways. I want to connect these two groups—those who have a wealth of knowledge about automotive history and those who are keen to learn from it.

Why is a car more than just a means of transportation for you?

For most people, a car is just a device. There is nothing more personal than a toaster or washing machine. For Autobots, cars are an extension of their own personality. An outlet for their creativity. A statement of their personality. It tells the rest of the world that you are not just another syndicate floating on a highway in the United States... You are not just going from point a to point b-you are alive, and you are doing it very interestingly...I Meaning, when you turn on your favorite music and you close the window... I don't think we have found anything closer to time travel. There must be a reason why Doc chose DeLorraine over Camry, right?

The most important moment in your career so far?

I can tell you this was when I got my NHRA racing license in Dodge Demon, or when Ford asked me to sling a brand new GT500 around the Sonoma circuit. These are all bright spots. Hell, how about interviewing some of my childhood heroes in our podcast, such as Steve Stroop and Brothers of the Ring? still have not. Honestly, this is an opportunity to learn from some very amazing people and work with them. Building these friendships is the most important to me.

What is the most important aspect of what we do for you?

Education and entertainment. A wise man once told me that when I touch the paper with a pen or click on the keyboard, I should do one or the other, and if I do it right, I will do it at the same time. Whether it's in-depth operational technical articles or enjoyable features on hot rods, I want people to stay away from reading and feel that their time is well spent.

What does it mean to you to be a media promoter and shaker?

Trend leader. A rule-breaker. An adventurer. A person who is not afraid of breaking the rules and looking for new ways to reach people. Someone pressed their ears to the ground, and their fingers pressed against the pulse of what was happening in the car scene. A person who pays attention to the next big thing, and the words that bring people there.
